Education

This month, in the spirit of Back-to-School, our charity efforts focused on education. With schools in NJ doing a combination of learning solutions from all in-person, to fully remote, to hybrid, we recognized that children would need school supplies no matter which learning model they were going into. So, we found a NJ based nonprofit organization, Norwescap, and donated school supplies. Norwescap supports low-income families through northwest New Jersey in areas like education, employment, housing and development, and health and wellness.

For our monthly happy hour, we learned about the importance of girls’ education around the world. We watched a TED video interview of Malala Yousafzai which talked about her advocacy efforts to provide access to education for girls around the world and how those efforts have adapted to current times.
